amp wont work.. all power

ok, so it turns on now but theres still no sound coming from the subs.

yea it was retarded that i forgot to plug in the remote wire.. but i'll admit that i'm not too handy with amps and subs. so i asked a few people whats wrong with it and about 2/3 people say that its because of the "output block" or something of the sort.

does that sound like whats wrong with it to all of you?

does this amp have a slave switch? or some kind of switch that alows it to be connected in line with another amp? sub pre out turned on? rca cables good?

no slave switch to my knowledge, pre out is on, rca cables are good, i've tried multiple ones

check to see if it has frequency grease, some times it dries out after a couple of years and it has to be refilled.

that should get the amp working.

haha im just messing with you man, theres no such thing. what that means is that you should let a professional work on it before you mess it up even more. not trying to insult your intelligence or abilities, but it would be best for a pro to work on it and get it fixed for you.

haha i didnt think there was grease, but yea.. i have a problem with doing that around here tho--the only place around here that might know anything is best buy. otherwise i'd have to drive like over an hour away. im about to just be done with it and buy a new one.

best buy will only bench test it to see if it works with output. if they get it to work with output maybe your hu has no signal coming out of the rca's
