Amp wont turn on?!!

This information might help, sorry for not providing this. My amp i had in the car produced to much power for my subs i believe so when I had my music up loud it would cut out then come back on. This time it did the same thing but the amp never came back on. I've checked the fuses and put a completely different amp in that is less powerful and I'm positive the fuse isn't blown. Maybe that will help? Not sure
If it is related, then you blew a fuse, if it's not related then a wire probably came loose. If you have 12V on the battery + terminal of the amp but not on the remote terminal, then trace the wire back to your HU, there's a break somewhere.

Ugh. You should have turned your gain down. Do the lights on the amp come on? I mean when you say your amp isn't coming on do you mean no lights come on, on the amp or you just get no sound?

no lights on my amp come on
run a small wire from the power wire to the remote terminal on your amp. You have now given your remote lead 12v if your fuse isn't blown. The amp should turn on. If it doesn't, your fuse is blown in your power wire, you have a bad ground, or your amp is blown. If it DOES come on, your remote wire needs to be repaired.

OP, do no post in this thread again unless you tell us the voltage of your remote wire at the amp with the key on and at the power terminal of the amp. You are wasting everyone's time.
