My amp has had some overheating problems and it is new but im going to return it. But my concern isnt that, my amp stopped turning on after a week of use and the wierd thing is, is that my old amp started doing the same thing even when it didnt overheat. there is no protection llight or power light. I was told to run a wire between the remote wire and power wire to test the amp and if the amp turned on then it wasnt the amp. So i did it and the amp turned on. the remote wire was securely fastened to the head unit, ground is good, no blown fuses. could this be a head unit problem, because i just got a new head unit before i got a new sub and my other sub stopped turning on after a while. But how could it start turning on my new sub when i got it and it worked for a week or so before this happened? What do i do? any suggestions?
