Ok I am stumped to no end. I have my rem wire connected correctly. and when i trun the car off the power ight on the amp wont shut off. I take the REM wire out and it does the same thing. its like the amp doesnt have an internal on off switch. am i just dumb or what? thanks

I had an mtx that even when hooked up properly and turned off the light would stay on....even when you uninstalled it the light would stay on for quite a while......

did it drain the batt? anything bad happen? cuz i dont need this girl getting pissed at something i had no control over lol

maybe the internal relay is stuck closed... tis happens but rarely, i had an mtx thunder400 i think that was like that, it also had power feeding back to the rem lead making my other amps stay on as well (no good) i ended up just running a relay to that amp and never had a problem with it

nah, it still had enough juice left in her to keep the led lit, and thats what it did i guess //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. Would eventually go off. I wouldnt recommend leaving it hooked up until you figure exactly what is going on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

well i'll see what happens... i mean its jus the led light thas on so its not much power if any going to it. then if the car has trouble i'll run a relay

A switch wont do anything if it is an internal problwm with the amp...he stated in the original post..."When I take the REM wire out it does the same thing". So obviously there is an internal issue with the amp...not the REM lead out of the HU.
most amps if you dont have the REM wire connected it wont even turn on. so im jus stumped
