Hey all i have a AQ 1200d Amp hooked up to a IDMAX 12 DVC2

it's hooked up to 1 ohm..

having this wierd problem.. when i first start up my truck and drive for about 15 to 20 min the amp will play fine but after those 20 min that amp will Slowly start to Reduce it's Volume/sound what ever it is where it gets to the point that i have no more sub.. but that amp does not go into protection or anything just turns itself down. i have no idea what it is..any of you have any clue??

electrical is all stock runing 0awg wire from bat to amp tsunami rca. in a 2008 chevy Tahoe... the Loudest i've played it was half volume still breaking in sub.!!

i've checked the connectoins all seem ok.... i'm clueless //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif hope someone could help.

Maybe your electric is weak is the only thing I can think of. Maybe it starts off with decent voltage than slowly decreases over that 20 minutes due to playing. Have you put a dmm to the inputs? also since everything is all stock besides the power wire that would be my assumption. do the big 3 amy get a bigger front battery.

seems weird to me that your tahoes alternator wouldnt be powerful enough to handle just the one amp. how old is your battery? like mentioned above consider getting a better battery (deep cycle) and upgrade your grounds. look for the sticky on BIG 3 and consider doing that.

how good is your ground?

ground is also 0 awg to the chassy yea i'm going nuts trying to figure out the issue.

i was also thinking voltage but i started tampering with the bass knob.. on the amp

the connection going into the amp for the bass knob that is.. and it seemed to bring sound back when i pushed it down.. but i spoke with AQ guys Awesome customer service they are helping me out...
