amp upgrade...............or not?

I currectly have bx1000d thats working very pretty good but, i think draws alot of current. If i were to get a refurbished directed 1100D or a refurbished Viper D1200.1 would I be able to hear the difference in power. Also do these draw as much current as the BX1000D?

i personally hate hifonics so i would make the swap imo. i always like to try new things though.

You should. I noticed a big one when I went up around 700w

that hifonics probably isn't putting out 1000watts whereas those other amp will be truer to there figures. I bet you see a big difference.
