Amp Turning on then off over and over?

I'D check your wiring, check your fuses (sometimes they fail) and also try turn it down, more than likely your battery is on the way out, also check your earth and remote wire are loose

wiring is almost the only option you have here. Like side show said make sure your ground is secure which means you sand all of the paint off the metal in which you grounded it and the ground wire shouldnt be longer than 2.5 feet. All your connections are tight. and just for kicks since it happened to me... make sure if you have a capacitor that the positive and negative terminals aren't accidently touching each other. Every time I would hit a bump they would touch and a spark would ignite and my system would turn off heh. Or it could just be that your amp has gone bad. Hope I helped

Ok gonna check this out in the morning and I will let you know.

Also, right now I am using a 40amp in-line fuse for the power wire, before I had it hooked up to a 325 watt amp, should I go ahead and switch it over to a 80amp? Which I already had I just blew it a while back and used a 40amp since.
