amp to run 2 kicker compVR

Do not have one. All hifonics are overrated a little bit, but to nowhere near the point you're claiming. I would go get one, but I sold the amp and subs for more then I paid, so I had to take up the offer.

It's understandable that you're trying to sell your amp to him, but there's no need for bashing others.

I could care less if he buys my amp, I am just trying to tell him what to expect... The BX1500D has been said to be over rated by around 500w.

I've seen bench tests of REPAIRED BX1500Ds that are 1300rms on SD before it was reset, to each his own though.

And it would be 350 rms to each, not 700 to each. The subs are wired together at a final load of 1 ohm, and like PhatTony said the power would be distributed equally.

yes they are overrated.. ive owned two..

and i have yet to see one put out more than 1400 rms on 14.4.. but hey you get what you pay for and still $200 for 1300 rms isnt that bad.

but dont worry about overheating. make sure you have a decent ground. my 1605d runs cooler than an old mtx and an old phoenix gold i had. i was surprised that they dont really get hot at all compared to some amps ive had.

you should order a xenon 600.1. u can find them online for around 250 on ebay. they run 600 watts 1-4 ohms just like jl amps do. put out a shitload of power. with the xenon u can run them series at 4 ohm and still get 600 clean watts. or you can parallel them at 1 ohm but theres no point in doing that since the technology put out the same power no matter what impedance ur using. Either way that shit is going to knock those speakers hard. My friend is running a xenon 600.1 to a jl w7 12'' and it sounds great, has a subsonic filter, built in fan, and is durable because my friend doesnt treat anything he has right. and if it can withstand his treatment, trust me.....it can hold its ground for a good price. dont pay more than 250 for one on ebay though unless they give u a phoenix gold warranty with it because nowadays, if you purchase equipment online without manufacters warranties, the manufacturer wont fix it. so make sure if you mess with people on ebay, check their feedback. dont let anyone rip you off. I also agree that a hifonics brutus amp would do fine moving those things too, but if your going to run 1 ohm, i'd get an orion hcca amp just to be safe. i had a friend who ran one at .25 ohm and it beasted 4 solobaric L7 15's

The Kicker manual has 3 boxes, with exact specs and tells you what size and how many pieces you need, and exactly how to make it. There is a SPL, SQL, and SQ box in the manual

Precision Power Power Class PC2150:yumyum:

that amp was born to push Comp Vr's. If you don't find one on Ebay I might sell mine...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
