The only way you could think Crunch does more power is if you're looking at peak/dynamic ratings. They have one amp that is legitimately something better than entry level. They're good value, and perfect for someone just getting into the hobby, but it's not realistic to expect them to perform like an amp 2 or 3x the price.
what i did was, went to
sonic electronix, clicked amps, 4 channel, selected my rms range, and sorted by lowest price first.
i clicked the cruch amp that sicaudio guy is trying to sell me, and i clicked the next 2 name brands i found closest to the price. i picked a total of 4 amps, the crunch, an alpine, kenwood, and kicker.
the crunch claimed to do 400x2 bridge, while being $120 or less, while the alpine and kenwood did like 320-350x2 and were like $30 more, and the kicker did the same as the alpine and kenwood but was like $40-50 more.
so as i said, how can the crunch do more power than others in the same price range, and it be true and not fishy.
i understand paying for the name. like the AQ1200D looks like an awesome amp and for $220 its a steal where like a kicker to do the same wattage rms @2ohm is almost $300. i would buy the aq all day long.
