Amp that does 1000rms @ 4ohms???

What amps out there does 1000 or 1200 rms @ 4ohms. Need one to run my 2 15" JLw6 old school version. They are dual 6's. Dont want to run these in parallel cause it goes to 1.5ohms. The only amp that I can find that does 1.5ohms is the JL 1000/1 and that amp is too much for me. umm....

almost any amp will run 1.5 ohm.. and to find an amp that does 1000 watts at 4 ohm.. well we will just say cost ALOT!

Its not that there the same. If its 1 ohm stable its stable down to 1 ohm. So 4, 3,2, 3.34, 1.5 1.2 it will all work.

1.5 ohms is in between 1 ohm and 2 ohm. if it is 1 ohm stable, then it can definately do 1.5 ohm. the power of an aq 1200d @ 1.5 ohm would be ~1000rms. 229 shipped brand new from their site. good amp.

an amp thats 1 ohm stable can put power to basically any load 1ohm and above some can play a little less car audio amps are far from exact or perticular.

google is your friend.
