Teledyne Acoustic Research amp. Any info?

I acquired a Teledyne Acoustic Research GCS 80/40 back in the late 90's and used it to power 2 8' subs for a few years. It's now been sitting for years and I'm thinking of putting it back into use in one of my less used vehicles. I was wondering if anyone had any specs or history on these amps. I found info on the company, Teledyne was a military contractor who acquired Acoustic Research (known for their high end home audio speakers) but I could find no info anywhere on their car amps. Is this thing like super rare?
