Amp terminal screws.

Does anyone know where I can get the terminal screws for my amp, the ones with the square washer? Ive been searching everywhere online but have not been able to find them.

Don't count on ever finding the square washer. They are unique to barrier terminals. As far as the screws themselves, they should be either M3 or M4 screws and should be available at a good hardware store. If you use spade terminals on your wires going into the amp, you really don't need the square washers.

Helo's absolutely right......but! Some specialty car audio shops stock replacement amp terminal screws complete with the square washer (my local Diamond dealer does - sells packages of 4 of them for $4.99) so if you have a look around it is possible to source them.

Again, though, like helo said, if you're going to use spade terminals on your wire then the square washer isn't a necessary item.

At the intersection of US 80 (E. Texas) and Benton Rd, as you're facing north up Benton Rd if you look at the northwest corner you'll see a relatively new shopping center strip that hasn't been there too terribly long....

Immdiately behind that further north up Benton Rd you'll find The Audio Edge - manager is a fella named Tony - heckuva nice guy.

Seeing what they charge for the square washer, I personally wouldn't even consider them. You can get basic screws and the spade terminals (which you should use with or without the washer just to prevent shorts from a stray strand of wire) for less. Ouch!

I full well understand your point about the ones I mentioned not being particularly fiscally responsible.

But potentially 5 bux could be worth it to someone just wanting to keep continuity of appearance in their install.

I reckon it's all about what's important to you. I bought a Kenwood 4ch amp off of eBay once that was missing two speaker output screws. I went a bought that 5 dollar set of four so all the screws would look the same. It was worth it to me to pay 5 bux to have it match.

I'm anal like that, too, but I would be more inclined to remove the ones I had rather than buy new ones in the case of the square washers. If I was going to compete with the vehicle it might be a different story...

Now my Harley is definitely a different story. I DID actually pay $7 each for two chrome plated buttonhead bolts (and they weren't from Harley, they were just expensive) when stainless screws would have worked but wouldn't have looked right, even polished.
