amp/sub question

If a mono channel amp is putting out 250 watts rms and the subs are 300 watts rms each (2 12"s) does that mean the amp is giving 250 to each sub or 250 total, 125 each?

the amp is putting out 250w regardless of how many subs are hooked up. that power is distributed evenly

what vc config are they( The subs ) and what is your amp putting out the 250watts at? I think you should read up a little more before messing with a system broski.
