Amp stops working.

thats 2 dvc 4ohm subs and can be wired in a 1 ohm or 4 ohm setup. many amps are not 1 ohm stable and will go to protection mode after a certain volume like you are experiencing. my suggestion is to set it up to the 4 ohm load as shown in the picture and bridge the amp. 4-ohm bridged on a stereo amp and 2 ohm unbridged to a mon amp are usually the standards.

would be your best bet. try it out that will get the most of your 2 channel amp. if you ahve a mono amp that is not 1 ohm stable you can only run it at 4 ohms and will only get half the avail power......

just looked up your amp and it is one ohm stable. however make sure you DO NOT hook it up like a said before, set the subs up in an 1 ohm load like the rockford page shows and hook it up to the left channel only. most mono amps are not bridgeable becuase they do not need to be. it should still send all 1500 watts to the one channel because of the 1 ohm load
