Amp stops suddenly

I recently had a 600.1 installed and it worked fine for about 2 day's before THE problem.

When I first turn the car on the amp comes on and play's for about 15 sec. then the bass stops. The amp light remains on and no additioinal lights come on from the amp beside the power light. When this happens I turn the HU off and then on again and I get the same 15sec. of bass from the single sub I run before it stops again. This cycle can repeat itself for aslong as I turn the HU off and on.

hahhaha, funny shit, sorry.

well, check the ground. it seemed like if it used to work before. it might be going into protection mode (when it gets really hot). so i would say check the ground, n make sure there's no rust or anythign on the ground connection, just bare metal.

yeah make sure its sanded down to bare metal........maybe the connectino just comes loose

A losse wire would more then liklely not be your problem, necause how could a loose wire make itself come lose after 15 seconds, EVERY time? I'm thinkin you may have something internally wrong. Get in touch with JBL if neccasary.

I had it looked at this weekend and the installers checked everything. They re-did the ground and checked all the wiring except the sub internally in the box. They were had no idea what was making this all happen.

check the wiring in the box first then call jbl and send in ur amp.
