AMP still in protection mode, what is wrong, help please.

To start off my wiring is Kukoncepts 0 gauge wire kit. I have a 60AMP fuse and then a splitter with a 30AMP fuse which converts the 0 gauge to 4 gauge which connects to the AMP +. The - terminal is connected to ground, and the power on cable is hooked to the headunit.

I purchased an MTX 1000XD Thunder amp off of classfields here and the day I recieved it I hooked it up and the light on it was red and buzzing, I then thought it may have been ground so I connected ground strait up to the battery and it still did the same thing. I asked the person I bought it from if there were any problems with it because it wasn't working for me and he said no. So I took it to a car audio place, they hooked it up in the store and the same thing happened. I sent it in to MTX and paid the $90 fee to get it fixed, got it back today and the paper said it was fixed and tested and works. So I plugged it back up and still the same problem, it turns red and buzzes for a second and then stops buzzing but it is still red.

What do you all think?

up your fusing bro. why do you only have a 60a split to a 30a fusing for the amp? supposed to fuse for the wire bruh

u need to use bigger fuses

well at least a 250a fuse would suffice the wire. real question is, is there onboard fusing on the amp?

Yes, 4 35AMP fuses

I used the same kit and I am using a 150 amp fuse. I would reccommend 250 though

run a 250a main fuse and from the splitter you can run 150-250
