Amp shutting down (saftey mode?)

The quattro gain goes from 4V to 0.2V and you have it set at 2 so you're most likely overdriving it. It needs to be set pretty close to the minimum. Keep in mind, if you're lacking output...turn up the volume, not the gain.
thanks! its gotta be the gain, i havent really played with them because i dont quite know how, but looks like im learning now haha, between the gain, fixing the ground, and the new alt. hopefully ill have no issues

 
That amp is pretty powerful and efficient. I also have a class H amp and it never never gets hot, distorts or shuts off. Let me know how it works out. By the way, also look at the gain on your gain for the sub amp. I couldn't find JBL 1400d amp, so not sure what it's input sensitivity range is.

Thanks for letting me notice i put my amp info wrong in the sig.... its a JBL GTO 1400.1

 
ok i turned down the gains to these images, so far nothing has happenened electrical wise, but i did lose alot of my pressure i had from the subs, any help with that??

Turn the gain up a little and turn the sub-out as well. Though it seems that only your speaker amp was the problem. Do the speakers have enough output?
oh yes these things sound beautiful! i also noticed that the sub amp ranges from 6v-10 or 100mv.... are mv's smaller than volts?
