My power wire is a 6 gage amp wire from battery to amp with 40 Amp fuse im using a 8 gage for ground and 14 gage remote wire with 18 gage speaker wire

What is proper wire gage i should use if wrong and size fuse

Ground should be the same size or larger than your power wire. That's issue #1. Visonik amp + Sony Xplod subs + Schosche wiring kit = disaster. No matter what way you look at. Browse this forum, sell what you have you, save up some money, and try again.

this also true. check out Amp Installation Kits, HDMI Cables for a real wiring kit at a very good price. but until then check and check again your wires, and fusing
