amp shut off

the amp was working fine. i was listenin to it loud then i changed the song n all of a sudden my amp n subs r off. any one know wat the hell happened. my amp is a 800w mono channel amp GM7200M

Check you fuses first on the amp and under the hood

Is it hot to the touch?

Check your ground and remote connections.

they seem to be connected just fine n ya its warm to the touch but not hot

Got your subs wired right?

well quick q the light on the amp should still be on no matter if the subs r connected the rite way or not but like i said im a newbie

Yeah if the amp isn't on then most likely a fuse is blown, bad ground, power wire is disconnected, or in worst case bad amp.
