Amp set with dmm...now what?

I put my head unit on flat, bass off etc , i goes up got 63 , i set it for 40. Do i listen to my system with the setting I did the dmm gain with? Its not loud as all on 40 vol.

In theory you should not go above forty as you are subject to clipping your subs. Did you turn off your ssf and lpf also what sort of test tone did you use?

after you set it with a dmm, plug in your speaker wires and jam!

0db 50hz , had the cross over on the amp at 80 and hu on 80
