Amp selection

I finally purchased the sub i wanted. 15" Kicker Solo Baric L7 (don't knock on me if you don't like it, just a sub i've always wanted). I have it in a custom made ported box to specs and stuff but i'm wondering what is the best amp i can get for it? I'm looking to stay as close to $200 as possible. Thanks for the help

you need 1000 watts rms at 1 ohm then ,the fosgate mentioned will work ,but too much power for one sub,i know these subs very well they dont take much over rated rms.i have a audiopipe apsm 1300 1000 watts rms 120 shipped ,2 months old

I have the Audiobahn 18001 Pract new mono block that will push it just fine for 250 in the forum.Alot of people knock Audiobahn,but most of theyre high end amps out perform most.Look up the amp,and check it out,compare specs.Its a monster without question,and will bang alll day long with the dual fans keeping it running cool enen mounted flat,or?Pm me if Interested,and I can send you fresh pics.I will do 250 shipped..Prob cost 30 to ship due to weight

with you saying you know the L7s. why is it when i play a 37 hz song i cant play it more then probly 15 secs or it will smell like its on fire?

That Audiobahn amp is top notch, and will push just about anything you throw at it..I know for a fact it will push 4-1000rms dvc2ohm sub,and 4-900rms dvc4ohm subs...all day long,because i have done it.Its alot better than that audiopipe crap,or that RF amp..It will out perform both amps bar nun.. Ill bank on it.If you want a mono amp with juice, and to last you a long time..this is it,and the oppritunity to retrieve, and cheap!!You have time on the computer,look it up, and check the specs out on it
