I have 2 JL w3v3 6.5 subs SVC 4ohm.

I would need a 500watt at 2ohm amp to power them both right in a parallel, correct?

Making them run at 2ohm, because you cannot run 2 SVC at 4ohm with one amp and running a 8ohm amp in serial to these would be impractical and costly.

Is this correct? I am not a stereo savvy person just trying to get some insight before I order the amp.

Thanks.

run them at 2 ohm parallel yes that would be your best option , then get an amp thats 1 ohm stable for 1000 rms ,then if you ever wanna go with better subs then your good.cuz you'll get 500 rms from the amp at 2 ohms
