What would you pick?

Do it right the first time or spend more in the end. Cheap, efficient, and clean don't go together.
i agree, but hopefully used, clean and efficient on a decent budget could be possible, looking for anything over 1000w rms clean @ 1ohm... almost bought a aq1200 for 160 but decided on a different amp and ended up getting refunded, then the guy already sold the aq when i went back...

Yeah, solid amp. Nothing super fancy, but durable and strong amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
worth 220? lookin @ the past prices seems a bit high... and the search continues.... what about a glx1800.1d thats cea cert. for 135, only 10mnths old, box, papers, everything... worth it?

CEA rating doesnt mean anything. CEA rating means amps do rated at 4 ohms, but the methodology for which they get that rating isnt standardized. Each company rates differently.
