amp safe off stock

Ok. Right now i got 2 10w7s sittin in my room with nothing to power em. So i need an amp that will put out decsent power at 1.5 ohm since 10w7s are 3 ohm svc for some retarded reason. But heres the thing, I want to do this off stock electrical. I know the subwoofers are rated at 500, but i have no problem sending them 400 or 450 each if i have too, specially since the difference is inaudable. This will be off a 105 amp alt and 12v battery. So please recommend me an amp that is no more than 300-350 bucks.

you will be fine with stock electrical. I have a similar stock electrical system and I have no problems running over 1000 watts

depends on amp. u can use 4 guage wiring will be good. u can get with 2 gauge but ti sucks trying to get it in the amp.

yes use 2 guage if u want 2 upgrade in the future or 0/1

look at it this way, if u think ur probably gonna upgrade later, wouldnt it b easier n cheaper 2 run the 2guage now, instead of runnin 4guage or 8guage now then goin through the process of rippin ur car apart and upgrading to the 2guage later on

and if u use a thicker wire than u can fit in the amp, jus take a knife and start cuttin away at the outside of the bare wire till it gets sized then u can solder it n stick it in or u can jus buy a terminal that will turn the 2guage into 4guage or watever, or get a distro block that will take that 2guage n make it in to 2 4 guage outputs

800 watts would be the ideal max current you should run through it to avoid lawsuits and stuff. However, in practicality, it can handle a great deal more.

Run 1/0 now...it shouldn't be that much more expensive than 2. You can check out http://www.knukonceptz.com for wiring/accesories. You should also buy some extra 1/0 and do the Big 3 under the hood, if you plan to not upgrade the batt or alt. The Big 3 should only require about an extra 5-10ft total, depending on the car.
