Amp(s) for my American Bass HD 12's?

Im new to all this but i recently purchased 3 of these subs, and i have no clue what amp to power them with or electrical upgrades to do. The rms/peak is 1500/3000. Any suggestions on amps and electrical?

You can wire those subs to 1.5 ohm or .67 ohm. So you want to find 4500wrms or so at one of those loads. Due to the fact that I've never run that much power, nor considered it, I'm gonna let others chime in with suggestions as they'll be able to help you better. You're going to need plenty of electrical upgrades though, H.O. alt, some big batteries to name a few. Something like this amp should do you well if you run it at .67. Keep in mind, the lower you go in impedance, the more electrical you need to support it.

You should really consider having a basic knowledge of this stuff and a rough idea of what you're going to power subs with, prior to making the purchase. I bet one of those on the right power in the right box would have you satisfied. What kind of car is this going in? Do you even have room for 3 12"s? What were your box plans?

In the trunk? I hope you've been out there t measure before making this assumption. 3 12"s like these will likely be very hard to fit in there with a proper enclosure. Building in the trunk would likely work. Or were you planning to get like 3 individual sealed boxes and squeezing them in like that?
