Amp Repair

Electronics are electronics. Coils are coils, caps are caps, resistors are resistors. Either it tests good or doesn't. How it works as a whole is unimportant. You are repairing one part, not designing a complete amp. If you have electronics experience you know this.

ive worked with military radars not consumer amps. All the crap i know about comes from the 70s so i ddint know if there was anyrthing new i should worry about.

That link is the best info you are going to find short of buying that guys amp repair tutorial. Saying that Perry is knowledgeable in the amp repair field would be a severe understatement. Pretty much any symptom you throw his way he knows what it is and how to fix it.
