Audiotekx.com they were fast, fairly priced, and reliable. I trusted them with my rare Orion XTR-200 $1400 amp and they were stellar!

i've heard terrible reviews about amprepaircenter.com. over on cac.net some guys found out that it's a person doing the business out of a house. i'd stear clear. they respond to your emails at first then quit til you threaten legal action or decide to take it back, then charge you a small benchtest fee to get it back to find out he had it for over a month and didn't even open it let alone start fixing it. shady business.

i'm sending my 20.1 to audiotekx very soon when i get my eclipse 3434 sold off.

Audiotekx has been the best with me so far. They have kept me updated every few days without me asking which is a giant PLUS in my book. CIA, on the other hand, didn't tell me anything unless I asked, but they still are a very good repair facility as well.

cia and audiotekx were pretty close in prices on the estimate/quotes for me and audiotekx does free diagnostics, then tell you the results and ask if you want to proceed or not with the repairs.

cia charges a bench fee and has a flat rate fee as well. got my quote back from them today.

zedaudio you need to send it in cuz they couldn't even give me a quote knor knew what my amp was (said IA 20.1).

That is all. They're having website problems but shoot Sergey an email at kbaudio@gmail.com . I used them and Sergey is a great guy! Fixed my amp and had it out ASAP and when problems with me stereo blew it twice more he repaired it for free. Iirc they have a 30or90 day guarantee against ANYTHING on the amp. They also bench test them at your request.

kb audio dropped off the face of the earth. had a pg tantrum1200.1 that needed repair, sent it back to a friend, he sent it in, they had it for 2 months and sergey pulled a hackjob. he got it back, sold it off as-is, the last person (iceteebone) sent it in to phoenix gold asked who pulled the hack-job and replaced the board. works perfect. sergey kept saying "just a few more days just a few more days" which turned into weeks. friend got fed up, yelled/cursed at the guy, and just asked him to ship it back as-is.

also had my treo750.1 for a while i think. never even touched it. got it back, had it sent to treo, and a lil over a month got it back (but missing the backplate).

very shady as well. have several complaints on the bbb site about them.

i'd stay clear as well.

Ah, ok. Mine was at least a year ago when i dealt with them. Awesome on the clipse, that 860 is still running strong

yeah they became real shady recently. dunno why companies just quit caring anymore.
