Good day all, I have seen a few things done out there to repair amps. But I would like to know is it possible for a amp to be fixed at home with out a lot of euqpment, is there a book i can buy that will do the run down of the amp i want to repair. None in mind yet.

Well, you would need access to various testers, soldering iron, etc.

What in your amp is blown? If it's just something like a resistor, de-solder it and replace it with another...some parts require more care and attention though.

Depends on what is broken, and what your electronics skills are. If it's something simple like a bad solder connection, you might get lucky and find it. If it's burned out components, you really need to know what you're doing to isolate the problem. Sometimes manufacturers will sell you a schematic diagram of their amps if you inquire.

The least amount of eqipment you will need is;

a Multimeter capable of reading dc, and mesure resistance.

a soldering iron with a fine and a thick tip.

handtools and cutting pliers

99% of amp repairs can be done with those.
