Amp Recommenations

I'm looking at a Cerwin-Vega XL300.2, PPI A500/2 or 1, PPI DCX 300.2 or an MTX amp. I am looking in the $100 to $150 price range. They will be pushing to 10" Cerwin-Vega HED-10DVC subs in sealed truck boxes. I prefer SQ over huge SPL. Also, what makes the D Class amps preferable?

first we need to know if your subs are dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm models.And people like class d amps for subs beacue they run cooler,are more efficient,and are cheaper for power than class a/b amps.

They are dual voice coil (HED-10DVC). THat's what I was thinking about the D Class, I assume more durable also. Durability is big part of my shopping, I don't expect an amp to last forever but I've killed a few (mostly due to beating the tar out them). Thanks for your help!

that doesent tell me anything.Its either dual 2 or dual 4 ohm.

Whoops, my bust, I should have read what you wrote! They are 4 ohm per voice coil.
