amp rack ideas

20 length and 10 inches wide for the 1500

any chance you could pull off all that plastic along the back wall and then build something in there out of 1/2" mdf or so to mount the amps to that? Should be able to gain a few inches or so behind the seats with the plastic stuff gone and mount them both horizontal along the bottom of the wall or so.

well thats the thing i dont want it to look crappy and it will with no back plastic and i dont want to cut the plastic all up incase i ever decide to sell the truck

Yea I would have to see it in person, or some better pics to be able to really tell. Its what I ended up doing on my truck though (only 1/2 way along with the amp rack build though). I am just going to have a small portion of metal just below the window that I plan on covering in matching black carpet along with the amp rack. The factory rear wall cover was basically black box carpet molded to fit the back wall.

ok, seriously, you have had ~10 posts in this thread and the only attempt at punctuation was the "period" in the amp model, and it was a very poor attempt at that. is it that hard or time-consuming???

yea it pretty much is but i have enough room to mount both vertical facing out but i just need to fogure out a way to make a bracket to make it work
