I need some help here.

I have a 07 VW GTI. There is no place to do a clean stealh amp mount in the car. I am not putting in subs, just a 4 channel amp for the 10 speakers.

The rear floor in the hatch is removeable, for access to the spare. there is room around it for amp, cap, dist blocks ect. there is styrofome to level it with the tire.

The questions is I plan on building up the floor so I can mount all of this,

my question is what wood would work best, MDF?

I was thinking maybe 1/4-1/2" thick and building it with that.

Yeah **** Germans,

Front: 6.5"-8" (2.1" mounting depth)

4" (1.41" mounting depth)

1" tweeter

Rear 6.5"-8"

1" tweeter

so (1) 3 way compset and (1) 2 way comp set

and the woofer enclosure im working on.

floor/sides and box are all 1/2 inch mdf. no need for thicker.

the floor lifts up, and the box swings back, to access spair well.
