Amp questions!!

So ive posted on here before but my 2 10"s svc kickers are running on the this amp in series.

They are the c10 the newer models, Single voice coil.

If you wire those subs in series you will have an 8 ohm load, parallel will give 2 ohms. How exactly do you have it wired now? And if you are trying to get louder I would look into different subs first then an amp.

If that box is not ported you should look in that direction if you do not want to buy new subs. you will not be able to give them enough power to notice much of a difference without blowing them.

hey brooklynjoy2008, and anybody else who would like to help, i know this is kind of long ago but i have another question,

i bought the Hifonics amp that i have listed above, my kicker comps did improve A LOT from what they originally were. I want to upgrade the subs but i was looking along the lines of some of the newer kicker cvrs 10"s

i might have to modify my box with some subwoofer rings to raise the sub maybe 1/3 of an inch for the vr to fit but would i gain much of an advantage in bass?

the cvr's are going to be a big improvement. I was also supprised and how shallow of a box they will fit into, not as small as the comp but will fit in most prefab truck boxes.

Yeah my box may be a little to small but I have added polyfill to the box so it's hopefully going to help. Do you think adding rings to the sub mount to raise it a bit cause much damage to the overall outcome?

Yeah if I glue it well for no leaks. Is there another way if I built a custom box what would be the best design? Like a sliver design? Or something like that?
