Amp Protect

I have my gain 1/4 and my crossover 1/4 and if i turn it up to get more out of it it acts like its going into protect but the green light just get brighter but when it goes into protect (the book says) it should turn into a red light meaning is overheating? any ideas fella's?

just because it goes into protect mode doesnt mean it is overheating, and what happens to your amp after the light gets brighter and brighter, does it stay on or does it go into protect mode?

no the sub just totally shuts off and hits like every 3 seconds untill i turn it down

first check ure ground then turn of any bass boost

the ground is secure should i move it or what? and my bass boost is all the way down because of my bass knob
