amp problems!!!

i have recently installed my system myself and possibly blew my amp... the power wire to the batt. got pinched in the door (yes i know lazy didnt go through firewall) and got cut in half the amp shut off and i rewired it but now the subs sound like they are only getting half power it seems like it took the bass out. the amp still powers on and the subs flex just as they did b4 but with only half the bass? what could be worng? amp blown? subs blown? any suggestions welcome thanks.

btw the amp is a rockford fosgate R500-1 prime series amp with 530 watts rms and the subs are 2 12" pioneer TS-W306C if that helps thanks

Chances are you might have toasted something in the power supply of the amp. Did you check the two 30A fuses on the amplifier? Give Rockford Customer Support a call to see if they can take care of it under warranty at (800)669-9899, Option#1.
