J jaw041383 10+ year member Member 50 0 st.paul,mn Dec 19, 2003 #4 get it replaced. i had the same problem with that amp and i blew my sub. i had it pushing a 15" he and i smelt a "hot electronics" smell and ignored it. i got it replaced and got a new sub and now it worx fine. and turn ur gain down to 1/3 to 1/2.
