i had a problem with the amp not working so i just went to test if it was getting power with a meter and then all of a sudden i see the power ligth turn on. im wondering why it would work if i try and test the power wire and the remote wire with a meter and then all of a sudden i see that the power light turns on.

what does that mean and how do i fix this problem.

take a small piece of wire and connect one side to the positive terminal of the amp and the other to the remote terminal of the amp, if the amp turns on then that means you dont have power going to either your remote of positive. check the remote wire to make sure you have it connected properly and make sure you have the positive connected properly. ive seen kids connect the power wire to the negative termianl of the battery.
