Amp powers up, but no sound

Okay measured everything:voltage at the amp: 26.xx (component amp reading the same, and it's working as we speak)

Resistance at speaker terminal: various, but getting a reading.

So...I don't think it is the amp. What do you guys think?
Wait..what? The sub amp voltage shows the same as the component? Now, it may just be coincidence, but I doubt it. Something is likely wrong there. My component amp was set to 20V by DMM and my sub amp was set to 60V by DMM when I set my gains the first time.

Chances of them both having to be the same is unlikely.

I am going to redo the wiring on my subs. Sorry to have to ask this, but I have (2) D4 subs, and I am wiring them in parallel individually, and then together to the amp, correct?

assume 20vac

if the sub amp is set up w/ 1ohm load, that is 400w

and the comp at 4ohm is 100w

nothing wrong there...just a different wattage.

quick math....might have wrong numbers, but you get the point

YEah I know that, was just saying though that's a coincidence for them to be exactly the same.

Nothing...they don't appear to be getting a signal. The only thing I can think of is my rca's? How would I know if they are out of phase? The subs are all wired correctly...

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
