Amp powers up, but no sound

So I just wired up an rd 1750 on (2) 10" tc7's, first at 4 ohms, then at 1 ohm. Neither time did sound come from the subs. No movement whatsoever, not even a slight vibration. No amount of setting changing on the amp or headunit changed the result. Swapped my component amp on the same wiring, subs began to move.

Is there anything else I can do to confirm if the amp is bad? I bought this from a supposedly authorized dealer from canada (silverbane on here)...it took over two weeks to get here and needless to say I am pretty bummed.

same thing happen to me on a cheap crunch 4channel amp. Stop working while playing at real low volume and never worked again, even if there's no protection light on and the power is on

Alright so I measured the speaker terminals on the amp with a DMM. For some reason they kept bouncing around, but seemed to stay at 14.xx I'll get a vid or a pic up later on. Anyone else know what could be going on here?

Did you measure the speaker terminals with the DMM on AC? You shouldn't be getting your battery voltage at the speaker terminals, lol. And it will fluctuate like mad as the music plays, music is dynamic so every note shoots a different voltage out there.

Hmm...well what exactly should the DMM be set on when measuring speaker terminals?
VAC 200 most of the time, depends on the DMM, some are auto ranging and some may have different sensitivities. On mine it's AC Voltage 200 though.

You should be seeing anywhere from 0-80 volts or so AC.

Okay measured everything:

voltage at the amp: 26.xx (component amp reading the same, and it's working as we speak)

Resistance at speaker terminal: various, but getting a reading.

So...I don't think it is the amp. What do you guys think?
