Amp power wire fuse question.

I have a 5 channel amplifier that's 3700 watt, what size fuse would I need on the power wire? The amp itself has 2 40amp fuses. I would assume a 100 amp fuse would suffice with 4 guage wiring? And will a single battery power this unit?

Thanks.

A true 3700 watts will pull more than 80 amps.

What amp and what is the RMS rating?

100 amp fuse and 4 gauge will be good for that amp based on its fusing.

Cheap 4 gauge CCA wire is rated at 60 amps for a 20' run.

Quality 4 gauge CCA is rated 100 amps  for a 20' run

Quality 4 gauge OFC is rated 150 amps for a 20' run.

An amp with two 40 amp fuses will have no problem being ran off a single battery.

The kit I was looking at is by Surge, the F-4. 18ft. 4 gauge. Perfect, I didn't think I'd have an issue but I wanted to make sure.
