amp power question

I want to run 2 10" alpine type S subs at 300watts I was thinking of getting a Power Acoustik A1000DB for them ( http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6188.html ) Will the PA beable to run both of them with no trouble?

yeah, the PA would be fine for those subs. Just wire them to 1 ohm and rock on

the site says that the amp cant handle at 1 ohm, if I could what is the diference between 1 ohm and 4 ohm or even 2 ohm?

Each sub can be ran at 2 ohms, but when wired together you get a 1 ohm load or a 4 ohm load.

The difference between the loads is the amp will 'see' a different amount of resistance, and will put out different power dynamics at different impedances. 1 ohm would be less than 4 ohms, so the amp can put more power out since there is less resistance on the circuit.

But this has 400 watts at 4 ohms and the subs are 300 watts at 4 ohm dose this make a difference?

Look for an amp that does ~7-800w RMS @ 1 ohm.

im sorry that power acoustik is stable at 1 ohm. so with the amp being stable a 1 ohm is this still a good combination with the alpines?
