amp power distribution

I'm wondering if i could hook up a 4 channel amp with 2 channels for a pair of 6x9s and the other 2 channels for a tweet and 4x6 speaker each. Is it possible to put a tweet and speaker on the same channel and divide the wattage appropriately?

You'd need a crossover for the tweet. Other than that it's simply a matter of wiring them in parallel.

yes thats fine, but make sure tweet has c/over in line

is it as simple as buying a passive crossover for each and then wiring it between them and the amp?...and im guessing crossovers have outputs for speakers and tweets respectively?

Find a GOOD x-over for the tweeter and wire it up correctly and you'll be in good shape.

so in anyone's opinion, what is a good x-over?
