Amp overheating with subwoofer (this problem defies all logic)

Is there a difference in sound quality from AB amps compared to D amps? Particularly when it comes to subwoofers.

Varies from brand to brand. All things being equal, A/B has a bit of an edge in SQ but would almost definitely be inaduible under 80hz and if you stick with good brands the full range class D is fantastic.

Heh, my computer speakers and sub are class D. Sound crisp and clear as day

always buy more power than you need, and just becareful with the gain and subsonic.
