Oh
As stated above I have a question about amp output. I am going to run my system with a Mmats SQ 4150 the specs are as follows;

SPECIFICATIONS

SQ4150

4 x 150Wrms @ 4 ohm

2 X 300Wrms @ 4 ohm mono

Frequency Response (-3db) 10Hz to 50KHz

Signal to Noise Ratio -105db A weighted

Distortion @ Rated Output

Damping Factor @ 100 Hz >125

Input Sensitivity 150mV to 2.5Vrms

Idle Current 1 amp

I will be running a set of CDT three way comps in the doors with two channels and a single 10" sub, brand and make not decided, with the other two.

Soooo, what would you think the sub channels will put out at two ohms mono?

Also, recommendations on a good SQ sub to fit the output wattage would be sweet!

Thanks for the info,

Darion

my bet is between 0 and 600W.

0 if it goes into protection or breaks...

600 if the PSU and amp was made with a large safety factor.

between 300 and 600 if the amp doesn't break but is stressed.

completely random guess. 1 x 456.7890W...

Thanks for the replies. Selecting an amp has been a PITA for me. Local shop that carries Mmats says ok to 2 ohms but thats what I would expect, didn't get the best vibe. Can't find much info on the amp, does have seperate gains, cant confirm seperate crossovers, has at least one.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Bigger concern is I have sent several E-mails to Mmats with some questions and not one response. Also tried to cll them but that was a joke, just a machine with exts, left lots of messages, nothing. Seems like the customer service issue I was reading about today is still in full effect.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif That doesn't sit well with me so I think I will shop for another amp, brand and all. I may just breakdown and go with two amps, one just doesn't seem to want to work out.

As for why not a three channel amp, haven't found any such amps out there that are good SQ amps, any suggestion would be great. Looking for 150watts front and 600+watts to the sub if possible.

Thanks again,

Darion
