amp not hitting mid notes

well, one of my old audiobahns with a nitro amp would take down most songs against it, and my audiobahns were bottom line. i didnt think mtxs with a memphis amp would be worse than that for the majority. but does anybody thing that bass with even out more when its turned up?

well we are all to lazy to check the **** specs why cant you just tell us the size? i would suggest going ported to achieve the bass response that you would like.

i don't wanna sound retarded asking this.....but is your amp freq. turn all the way down so it only picks up the lows?

well lemme get this straight. you are talking about your subs right? and they aren't hitting hard? hmm is the gain all the way the down? i know the gain isn't a volume control mechanism but your gain might be down all the way? what are the specs of your subs and amp?

i dunno if this is your case but what happened to me is that my sub wasn't hitting that hard at all but then i went back to look at the sub (my sub is DVC), one of the speaker leads were off of one of the coils. i hooked it up and it started to hit again. that could be an option.

raise your lowpass filter just a tad...my old 5500's had no problem hitting some of the lower mid notes. im actually kinda sad i got rid of them, they were nice little speakers.
