Amp needs 2G power wires.. 4G okay?

Hey guys my dual mono amplifier recommends 2G power wires but my distro block has 4G outputs. Will it be okay with 4G power wires? I got 1/0G from the battery under my hood and 4G power wires out of the distro blocks will it be okay with that? my 4G run of my power wires will be less than 2 feet long.
