I want advice for an amp with VERY CLEAN output that can power this sub. I was hoping people would avoid the usual Sundown/IA. I was hoping to find something with a tad better SQ.

there are a lot of very good sql amps out there. I have a pair of ARC Audio 1500DR's for sale. That would be a magic combo.

I was hoping to send a little more power to this sub than those have to offer. I do like Arc/zapco. What else is out there that has 2000-3000 watts that has low distortion, high dampening factor, & a high S/N ratio? Come on guys!

I would love to see you pick the amplifier I hooked up to your sub and send it 2500rms by ear. You might feel better by spending more money- however you will not hear a difference.

I have owned a few amps. I have been able to hear a difference from one amp to another. I have heard amps with raw power but no speaker control. I want something that can throw a ton of power and sound good doing it. I'm sure Kicker puts out the power but I'm not so sure that I couldn't pick it out up against some of the more high end amps. I have went the cheap route and I've went the expensive route. I prefer to spend a little more and get something that I know will sound great, & last for a long time.

How about the audiopipe AP30001D...its 3000rms @1ohm...i believe your speaker is a dual 2 ohm and 2500watts rms...so this may be slightly overpower....but it's a great amp for the money...its $397
