Amp Mounting?

Is it a good idea if i mount my amp on top of my sub box with screws? Will this mess up the subs?

As long as the screw doesn't puncture the subs...sure

I put a piece of padding between the amp and box, but I am paranoid.

never had a problem mounting amps on enclosures - doing that for 10 years

I've done it before with no problems. Keep in mind though, it does make it easier for a thief to steal your system with less hassle.

good point.....

Ive been screwing amps to my boxes for like 3 years, never a problem. however I always wondered if to screw holes made a difference to the box. Obviously a sealed box will no longer be sealed and so on....
