Amp light Dimming too low then pops the fuse.Can any one help?

I wanna know what is the problem with my system because when i raise up the volume the light on my amp will dimm then if i raise it more it will pop the fuse witch is 30watt fuse . The power wire is a 9 gauge and i am pushing a 500 watt Lightning Audio amp , and 1 15" 500watt Audiobahn sub. Also i have the amp bass level at less then half way of max power. So if Any one can help me out i will great.

my friend and i hooked up my re hc sub that sucks 1200 rms to his legacy p.o.s. amp that does some "1200" watts it blew fuses on his amp as we turned up the volume. some amps say some untruthful things. so its up to you to find out wether or not this amps actually doin its job, or not. im not saying its definately the amp, im just saying its a possiblity. good luck

Thanks man i think i am going to try out another amp to see if that is the problem.
