amp keeps blowing fuses

i have a 300 watt bazooka amp that keeps blowing the fuse that runs right of the battery the fuse on the amp itself is not blowing what could be the casue of this i even hookup a legacy 800 watt amp dosent even blows the fuse if this helps its powering a 10 800 watt sony sub from wal-mart.

check and make sure the 12v connection on the amp isn't shorting out on the negative connection where they connect

do u think i could put an in line 100amp fuse that might not blow what u think.

did u check what i said to do, if the fuses in the amp aren't blowing the short is before the amp..... if its only doing it on this amp the 12v and the ground could be shorting out where your connecting them, putting a bigger fuse in would probably just blow like the other if u got a short.....but if it doesn't there's more than likely gonna be a fire

what size fuse is on the amp, and what size fuse is under the hood?

it is 2 20 and a 7.5 aux fuse on the amp and its a 30 under the hood
