Amp is on Protect. Could it be the battery in my car?

the fuse is good. I took it out before and put it back in and it sparked. it didnt come with a spark plug so i put a 30 in it

I am assuming you meant a fuse; and I doubt it came without one, unless you bought used. Be sure to find out what the recommended fuse rating is for your amp.

What is your final load at the amp? Meaning, what do you have your sub(s) wired to? An amp can go into protect if you have the impedance too low for said amp to handle.
